Very nice location and a great atmosphere. The roast beef, rib eye, spare ribs ect. are grilled on a swivel grill. The meat was grilled to the point and of high quality. The side dishes (bacon beans, potato gratin, salad, etc.) were also delicious. The baked apple rings as dessert were the crowning glory. The staff is very friendly. The service great! We would love to come back. The Gasthaus Obermühle is highly recommended.

I was enthusiastic about this location. The ambience is rustic, cozy and really impressive. The large swivel grill in the building is an eye-catcher. The food was really great. A must for lovers of grilled food. An absolute recommendation. We will be back!

A really cozy restaurant in an old building. There is a great courtyard where you can sit too. Everything is exemplary here, especially in the current Corona period. They keep their distance, the employees wear face masks, everything is cleaned and disinfected. The staff are all super friendly and most importantly, the food is extremely tasty! Meat is cooked on an open grill, which gives it a wonderful aroma. If you want to eat comfortably and in a great atmosphere, I can only recommend the Obermühle.

Beautiful restaurant, it is always freshly grilled on a large swivel grill with beech wood charcoal tastes great. Always happy to eat there. Very nice service and very nice staff.

Perfect! The service, the staff is friendly, attentive and really quick, despite the completely full courtyard. Well-tempered drinks are served. The starters are varied and delicious. All main dishes are fresh from the wood-fired grill, perfectly fried to the point. In addition, various side dishes that are really very tasty and something for everyone. We are very happy to be guests in the Obermühle.😋😋😋

For over 27 years now and again visited this gem ... and never been disappointed in this period ... ok ... sometimes a bit cramped and noisy indoors .. but the ambience is always beautiful outside.

We have been going there again and again for 20 years. The quality is still absolutely top. The service was very friendly and courteous. The current hygiene regulations are observed in an exemplary manner. We will definitely be back.

Just a blast, the huge grill mesmerizes you when you have 5 minutes to admire it. Otherwise, everything is really great Mega. For meat lovers a must. There is also a great location and super nice waitresses. Always happy here.

The Obermuhle deserves a rating of at least five stars. My family has been visiting this restaurant for years and each visit is a wonderful experience. First we come to the menu, to this I will say "short and sweet". Personally, I don't like to go to a restaurant where there is too much choice. The Obermuhle knows what they cook best and that is meat, meat, meat. In the middle of the open kitchen a large open grill allows for the preperation of beek, pork, lamb and fish dishes. A variety of tasty side dishes are listed for choice with the meat dish. The wine list is abundant but my favorite drink is "sekt" with a homemade holunder syrup. Other then the food, the atmosphere of the restaurant is down to earth and quaint. Old wooden tables and chairs and benches fill the courtyard and interior of the restaurant. The decoration is vintage old farmer style. The friendly servers are quick to greet and take your order. The prices are standard for the quality of the food and service. All in all the Obermuhle is a worth the journey to the small town of Hennenthal.
